Chocolates Best de Guatemala

Founded 37 years ago, Best de Guatemala is now the largest chocolate and chocolate compound factory in Guatemala. Our company is best known by its product Botonetas® which in Central America has become a generic for candy coated chocolate lentils. Today we produce chocolate compound bars, soccer balls, nougat bars, waffers with and without chocolate, peanut candies cocoa drink mixes and sour candies. Another of our better known products is the Chocofruta BEST® a chocolate coating used to coat ice creams as well as frozen fruits, particularly bananas.

Our products are targeted to the low-to-medium end (SES) young population. We offer moderate prices with as high a quality as possible combined with bright novelty presentations. For example, the bag weight of Botonetas® can vary from 10gr to 20gr, depending on the coin used by the children in any of the countries we sell in. Similarly our waffer cookies vary in size depending on the economic level of the target population.

All of our products are made with FDA approved ingredients and processes. Some of our products like Chocopanda -- our cocoa drink mix -- are fortified with vitamins and minerals. We endeavor to use the most natural and healthy ingredients available given our target population.

Chocolates Best de Guatemala, S.A. already sells and operates in ten countries in Central, South America and the Caribbean. Our goal is to double that coverage in the next several years. In order to do this we endeavor to find new distributors who can work with our brands. We are well equipped to adapt OUR products to your market in terms of sizes, quantities, presentations (size and style), as well as in the taste predominant in YOUR area. For example, in areas in Central America a very sweet chocolate is preferred while in Peru, a more chocolaty flavor is better liked.
